Save The Animals

The Abilene Zoo is committed to ensuring that endangered species have a future in the wild. Introducing West Texas to animals from around the world is a direct way to make an impact. Our guests and supporters join the Zoo in making a difference with every visit and dollar spent. Funds raised go directly to field conservation projects worldwide.

Saving Baby Birds

Abilene Zoo’s Bird Rehabilitation Center is helping Big Country birds in a big way!  We take in injured, orphaned, and abandoned birds with the goal to rehabilitate them and release them back into the wild.
